Machine Weft Hair Extensions
Luxe Locs Remy Virgin Hair is sewn on to a special weft. Additionally The wefts are reinforced with a special glue and additional stitches. These extra details prevent shedding. Professionals have different preferred application methods. Weft & Bead method application is where professionals secures small pieces of natural hair with specialized beads. hair is then sewn with specialized thread to add a 2nd layer of reinforcement. Luxe Locs machine wefted hair will last a minimum a year with good care and proper maintenance.
Scheduled Maintenance: 4-8 Weeks
As the hair grows the wefts will slowly slide down the natural hair. Once the hair feels loose then it is time for maintenance. A Qualified professional will remove stitching and beading. Hair will be washed and prepared for reinstallation. Hair weft is then reapplied snug at the scalp with the Weft & Bead method or other preferred method. Luxe Locs suggests wefts are moved up every 4-8 weeks depending on the clients hair.
